Attention Parents!
SMS will begin testing 8th grade Science on Wednesday, April 7th and Thursday, April 8th. We will test 7th and 8th grade Math Wednesday, April 14th and Thursday, April 15th. 7th grade will test ELA Tuesday, April 20th, Wednesday, April 21st. 8th grade will test ELA Tuesday, April 20th -Thursday, April 22nd. We will begin testing at 8:10 and finish at 11:50. Some of our 8th graders competed in the Purcell track meet yesterday. They brought home medals and were an outstanding representation of SMS. Way to go, Jr. High Track!

Attention: Today's Jr. High baseball game at Holdenville has been canceled. Players will need to report to the football stadium area until approximately 3:45 for a brief meeting.
Free Summer Academies are Back! Upcoming 8th - 12th graders may apply for free Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Academies across the state. Students may apply to an academy of their liking and will be notified later in April if they have been selected. Parents- If you were unable to attend parent/teacher conferences this week, then your child's progress report will be sent home with them today.

Congratulations to our SMS GIRLS GOLF TEAM! They finished second place today in the Seminole Golf Tournament.
Oklahoma Council for Indian Education presents Parent Advocacy Town Hall Meeting
Reminder- Parent/Teacher Conferences for traditional and distance learners are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, March 8 & 9, from 4-7 p.m.
Teachers have been scheduling appointment times for students and notes have been sent home. If you have not received one, please contact the middle school.
Pre enrollment information has been sent home with next year's 8th graders. Students and parents may select their courses for next year. Please turn in enrollment information during Parent Teacher Conferences Monday, March 8th or Tuesday, March 9th or before we dismiss for Spring Break March 11th. Jr. High Baseball Schedule Update-
March 2 game has been postponed.
April 26 will be a home game against Tulsa NOAH @ 5:00 p.m.
