April 4th 2023 Bond Election-The Board of Education of Seminole Public Schools has authorized a special election asking voters registered within the school district boundaries to consider a bond issue in the amount of $510,000, for the primary purposes of upgrading playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces.

Seminole PS will be closed again tomorrow (Thursday 02/02/23) due to forecasts of continued winter precipitation this evening and cold temps below freezing continuing through midday Thursday. Makeup will be a virtual learning day on Friday May 12. Maintenance crews plan to clear school parking lots, drives and sidewalks tomorrow in hopes of reopening on Friday.

Seminole Public Schools will be closed again tomorrow (Wednesday 02/01/23) due to forecasts of continued icy roads and extreme cold weather. Makeup will be virtual learning on Friday May 5.

Due to the forecast for continued snowfall throughout this evening and into the early morning hours, Seminole Public Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow (Wednesday January 25, 2023). The day will be replaced with a Make-up day per the school calendar as a Virtual Learning Day on Friday April 14th.
This decision is made with the safety and best interests for all our students, parents, employees and community. We know that most of the main roads are expected to be clear by mid-morning tomorrow, however the side roads may not be cleared until later into the day, and we think this is the right decision for all concerned.

Due to possible inclement weather Chieftain Clubhouse, jump rope, and 6th grade basketball will be canceled Monday, November 14th.

It is Election Day, and we offer a collective word of appreciation to those of you who have already cast your ballots during the early voting days (and/or by absentee ballots). If you have not yet voted, the polls are open from 7:00 AM — 7:00 PM TODAY.
GO VOTE! AND REACH OUT AND REMIND 3 to 5 other registered voters to go vote. Let’s finish this very important business which stands to impact public education for the next several years.
